What does a Patron do?

The Patron’s Community represents a growing number of businesses within Lancashire and the North West of England who have pledged their support to Age Concern in recognition of shared values, mission and vision.  Patron’s help the charity in many ways ranging from financial support through to joint public relations, networking and wider awareness raising initiatives to further the reach and impact of the charity and that of their respective organisations.  Careful consideration is given to each individual patronage and…

Ultimately; our Patron’s can be involved as much or as little as they want.

How do Patrons Benefit?

The Patron’s Community is underpinned by a Patronage Agreement which sets out the benefits our community can expect from the outset and as part of the onboarding process our Patron’s have the opportunity to work with Age Concern Central Lancashire to discuss how their business or venture could adopt ethical and moral approaches in order to become a force for good whilst achieving positive dividends for shareholders and beneficiaries.

Businesses are awarded a Patronage certificate to be proudly displayed within their premises and will benefit from positive PR messages across online and offline channels, have access to regular news and information about the charity and the opportunity to learn about how their contribution is benefiting society.  In addition; Patron’s also receive discounted support such as bespoke dementia training for staff teams that can be tailored for any sector and arena.
