Donate your unwanted furniture including sofas, tables, wardrobes, beds, small electrical items and much more. We just ask the items are in a saleable condition for our shops.
Depending on your preference, our van crews will either collect from your room of choice, your doorstep or an alternative safe access point. We are happy to accept most household items but there are some exceptions for either legal or practical reasons. This includes soft furnishings without a fire label, safety items, baby equipment, refrigeration, large wall units or any item that is not in a saleable condition.
Sometimes we get too many of one item or have nobody to complete repairs and it costs us money to take items to landfill so please be understanding if we have to sometimes say no.
Items we can not accept at this time…
-Upholstered donated furniture without a fire label (unless pre-1950s)
-Roller or venetian blinds (unless in original packaging with safety instructions included)
-Donated furniture with unsafe missing parts or damage

In order to enable Age Concern Central Lancashire to arrange a free collection for you we need your permission to provide your name, contact details and address to a third party, Boxmove, so that they are able to collect your goods.
